Triennial Dinner 2018

Triennial Dinner 08 September

On Saturday 8th September, 129 of us enjoyed a superb evening at Spitalfields on the occasion of our Anniversary Dinner. We were pleased to welcome Spitalfields Rector Andy Rider and his wife Carol, and the ASCY Master Henry Coggill and his wife Saskia as our guests. After a prosecco welcome followed by dinner, we were entertained by speakers Alan Regin, who proposed the church, Andy Rider who responded, Jack Page who proposed the Society, and Master, Tom Mack who responded. All of this was smoothly held together by Barry Mack, as Master of Ceremonies. This was an evening to remember with guests travelling from far afield in the UK as well as from the United States and Australia. Having seen the nave dressed for many fabulous occasions in the past, it was such a pleasure to be in the centre of such a beautiful venue for our own very special event. For many of us, the evening was rounded off in usual style in the Pride of Spitalfields.
